Set Design Highlights

This project focuses on the redesign of two sets for the 2012 film "Cabin in the Woods," drawing inspiration from Southern Gothic aesthetics and the haunting beauty of rural Appalachia. The aim is to capture the natural eeriness of the landscape, incorporating elements like weathered wood, overgrown vegetation, and dim lighting to create an unsettling atmosphere. By blending traditional Southern Gothic motifs with the unique characteristics of Appalachian culture, the redesigned sets will enhance the film's themes of isolation and suspense, immersing viewers in a world that feels both familiar and deeply unsettling.
